The reasons for wireless versus a wired system almost always have to do with the high cost of running wires. The high cost of hiring an electrician to run wires almost always warrants the cost of a industrial intercom type of system. This frequency allows long distance transmission and is usually powerful enough to overcome interference caused by equipment found in an industrial or office environment. It can also overcome challenges that result from commercial building construction.</p>
