WirelessIntercomsOnline.com does not carry antennas for our MURS intercoms, except for one magnetic mount antenna,
because in most applications an external antenna is not needed. If
you do need additional range you can purchase your antenna
from from the company below. Their website page with the

. This company has three MURS antennas available:
MURS Vertical Outdoor Model Antenna
Use this antenna if you can mount one on the top of your
building. This antenna will give you maximum range.
MURS Blade Indoor Model Antenna
If you can't mount an antenna
outside on your building, use this one mounted on an inside wall.
MURS Mobile
5/8 Wave Antenna
This antenna is designed for vehicle-mounted applications, but if
you have a metal building you could improve the performance of your
MURS system by simply sticking this on top of your building. This
could also be used indoors for extending the range of the MURS
Wireless PA system.
Antenna Cable
If you choose an outside antenna, you will likely have to purchase cable. As far as the cable you run to the antenna you should try to find RG-8. It is a high quality 50 ohm cable that matches the impedance of the antennas. However, you won't likely find that in your local building supply store. But, if you aren't running more than 50 feet of it you could likely get away with running RG-6, which is a 75 ohm cable. You can find that at the building supply stores and it will not likely affect your performance that much.
